make it come true In early June of 2000, BMG company pan pacific
area entertainer and production director - Mr. Preston Lee has been
planning a brand new commercial project....
Honesty and Actual
Strength are the Foundation Stones of Enterprise The main reason
for cooperating with Director Adam Juang is because the working attitudes
he emphasized in teamwork spirit, sincerity toward clients and thorough
communication and coordination....
Tradition and modern
are on a same stage climate & time, advantage of territory and
human relation are the three keys of success or failure....
Design processing
BMG likes this drama written by animation Director Kevin Chen very much.
The drama is finalized for production after several discussions....
1. Scenes design
Kevin Chen wishes the style of this 3D MTV to have feminine satisfaction
and gentleness that will be significantly different from the savageness,
coldness and hardness of the star war....
2. Modeling design
BMG requires a very high standard in modeling, because this is exact the
same as the commercial planning of a real singer. The four young ladies are
only at the age of 17 ~ 18....
3. Written script
This is the portion that impacts whether or not the story of the entire
movie can thoroughly and smoothly be expressed....
4. Storyboarding
Storyboard to Director Chen who has worked in cartoon structuring instruction
for many years, the treating of shots and moving of cameras etc. has long
become a kind of his occupational natural response....
3D and digital special effect production method and execution procedure
Introduce The
example that we'll be using for discussion here is BMG's "4 in
Love" 3D MTV....
Important File
naming system and file management: all files must be named under one
unified format, according to scene, object, cut, etc....
Modeling The
modeling team broke down into: 1. Character modeling, 2. Background
modeling, and 3. Props modeling....
Rendering The
rendering team also broke down into several groups: 1. Lighting group 2.
Texture mapping and 2D paint 3. Material, Texture and shading group....
Animation For this BMG MTV project, the animation team was
divided into 5 group:
1. Camera movement.....
2. Character Setup.....
3. Motion Capture.....
4. Facial Animation.....
5. Character Animation.....
